National Patent from our research center

Trakya University, which works to improve its quality criteria and standards on a national and international scale, and has made an important development and innovation in this direction every day, has added a new one to its patents.
Mirko Tos Ear & Hearing Research Center, which is the first and only research and application center in its field, which was established and started its activities on January 09, 2019 with the contributions of valuable academicians of Trakya University, achieved an exemplary success by obtaining its first patent.
The invention, which was registered by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office with the title "Double Channel Otoacoustic Emission Device", made its mark among the patents of Trakya University as the first patent of the International Hearing Studies Application and Research Center.
The patent, which has been obtained, aims to be introduced to the public between January 15-17, the anniversary of the establishment of the Research Center, which has achieved a significant success with its invention, even though it has been a short time since its establishment.
In the statement, which is stated that in addition to scientific and academic studies, patent studies continue without slowing down, the Vice Rector of our University and Faculty of Medicine, Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Prof. Dr. Cem Uzun made the following statements:
"We are proud and happy to gain our first patent in our center, which we established to try to find solutions to ear and hearing problems in our country and in the world, with the contributions of our colleagues abroad, by working worthy of the name of Prof. Dr. Mirko Tos. I think we have achieved an exemplary success and behavior in a short time. From here, as the dates approach the second year of his death, I once again remember Prof. Dr. Mirko Tos with deep respect and longing. This device, called Dual Channel Otoacoustic Emission, whose international investigation continues, is another Cochlear In addition to our patent applications for the Implant (Bionic Ear), we are also filing a patent application for another hearing measurement device soon. We plan to share the prototypes of these three devices with the public in January 2020, the first anniversary of our center.
We are planning to hold the Opening Ceremony and 1st Scientific Meeting of Mirko Tos Ear and Hearing Center on January 15-17, 2020, and a session titled 'Innovative Approach in Ear and Hearing Research' in memory of Mirko Tos. I would like to thank all my colleagues who contributed to the project and its transformation into a product.
